Dear Harvey,
As a follow up to our conversation I am putting some thoughts to paper
to clarify how our marketing activities will support you in reaching your
online goals.
I will break the efforts into "inbound and outbound" marketing
plans.
Inbound Marketing (our prospects find us)
This week I will begin visiting all of the 4 star and 3 star registration
sites (approx 50) and filling Chruchill Associates' information for each
one individually to provide complete coverage.
I will also search out and register with sites that offer listings of
companies providing search services in the hope of creating Symbiotic
links. (If in some cases, these sites insist on our creating reciprocal
links, I will advise Barry, with your approval, to create a links section
on your site to handle this.
Outbound Marketing (we find our prospects)
On the completion of the registration phase, I will begin monitoring some
of the following online publications to unearth potential leads for you
to communicate with.
Information Age
Digital Future Digest
Digital Horizons Telecommunications Newsletter
Communications News
The Web Word
The Internet Letter
GRIT; Gould Resources & Internet Telecommunications Newsletter
Harvey, please suggest any other forums that come to mind that I might
add to the above list to monitor.
In addition, I will also be monitoring news groups in search of comments
from key players in the Telecommunications industry (Executives and human
resources people) so as to introduce them to you in a way that will establish
a pretext for communication.
It will be our goal to establish an online introduction leading to a potential
business relationship.
I will forward the contact name along with the context of his communication
as well as our pretext for writing.
Your part in this equation will be to send an appropriate letter stating
your position, acknowledgement, or any personal feelings on the topic
discussed in a concise and "value added" manner. The only hint
of your identity (corporate presence) will be your signature file (at
the end of your email) giving your name, tag line, company URL and email
address.
This is the accepted manner of doing business and making contacts on the
net. Non direct, with the understanding that adding value to the conversation
identifies you as one of the "high minded players" in tune with
Internet Etiquette.
Please share with me any additional thoughts as to who we are interested
in contacting online, and where I might "hang out" to meet them.
Regards
Charles
